Amelia workshop task 4

The first image was taken on Proshot – ISO 64 / 1/25 Shutterspeed / Focus 45.

The second image was taken on Proshot – ISO 50 / 1/39 Shutterspeed / Focus 55.

The third image was taken on the iPhone camera app with portrait mode on.

As you can see, the photo using portrait mode creates a really sharp focus on the perfume bottle in comparison to the first image using Proshot. When using Proshot, I changed the F-number from high to low multiple times in an attempt to create a sharp focus on the perfume bottle, but found that only when it was around the middle did it have any real effect on the focus. The desired affect was achieved much clearer with portrait mode.

The first image was taken on the iPhone camera app, and the second was taken using the iPhone camera app in portrait mode.

Similarly to my problem with the test shots of the three objects above, I found that changing the F-number in Proshot made next to no difference in changing the focus of Sloane. I’m not sure whether it was because of the bright outside light.
