When taking the picture I used AV mode on my Canon camera with a low F-stop to create the background blur. The picture was taken purely by chance whilst Mia was on her phone and I thought it would be a good photo to edit.
I didn’t have access to photoshop so instead I used snap seed. I edited the picture to eliminate a lot of the white on Mia’s face and bring out more real skin colour. I also adjusted the colours so the blue and red of her jumper really pop. I also increased the sharpness on the image so you can see more of her hair and put the brightness up slightly.
I decided not to do any cropping as I thought how she was positioned in the centre of the camera looking away was a really nice pose.
