For this image I used a Canon camera with an F stop of around 15 and a middle ground shutter speed. I went quite close up to the leaves to ensure that I captured as much detail as possible. The original image, had a flat tone to it causing it to look quite dull so in order to improve my image, I used Photoshop to increase the vibrance and the saturation. I also increased both the brightness and the contrast which I believe worked quite well as it caused the overall image to look more distinctive. Finally I adjusted the colour balance by moving the cyan bar more towards the red, resulting in a more pink/red hue to the edited image.
I wanted to get used to the adjustment tools on Photoshop and also edit some candid type photos as I will want to focus on taking a few natural shots for my final project.

For this image I incorporated the rule of thirds and used a higher F stop which caused the whole image to be in focus, providing more detail. I only adjusted the image slightly in Photoshop, by lowering the brightness and increasing the vibrance and saturation. Overall this gave the image a subtle but effective warmer tone, which is what I was looking to achieve.
For both images I cropped to an original ratio and exported the images as 1920px wide.
