Sloane’s Before and After

Before:

After:

When taking these photos, I used the same Canon camera I used in task 5. After taking the photo and uploading it to photoshop, I made quite a few editing changes to change the image’s quality. For the Hue/Saturation levels, I turned down the colour to make it slightly more orange. For the Selective Colour with the colour red, I changed the cyan to +50, magenta to +23 and black to +28. Lastly, for the vibrancy, I dropped it down to 48 and brought the saturation up to 50.

After:

Wanting to bring some life to this already beautiful picture, I’ve again made some changes to brighten the overall image. I changed the Vibrancy bringing it up to +66 and the Saturation to -1. I also turned up the Contrast to +64 and set the Photo Filter to the colour green and up to 18% density.

Overall Reflection:

Obviously, the two images are quite different, but I wanted to capture a scenic perspective. Taking the first photo was quite simple, as the object was not moving and I could get as close as I wanted to. However for the second photo, I took the picture of the animals while being sat in a moving car, thus it took multiple attempts to capture the perfect photo with minimal blurriness.
