Graffiti is one of the oldest art forms, with its roots in rebellion and anti-establishment protests It’s exciting to see street art receiving it’s well deserved accolades. Leeds City council recently commissioned a mural by world famous graffiti artists Hazard 0ne, in collaboration with Getaway Girls, a women’s aid charity operating in Leeds. The mural was created in an attempt to bring attention towards the issues that women and girls face everyday, it features Hazard 0ne’s trademark striking colour palette.
It’s great to see council commissioned street art in Leeds, here are some amazing works of art around town.
