In week 1 of Photojournalism, we were given an introduction into the module, an overview of the assessment, and we were set our first task.
We were set the task of finding a story in Leeds or the surrounding areas, taking photos of it and producing a little written piece underneath it.
For my task i chose to take a picture of the the ‘street art’ in Headingley. Headingley is full of street art everywhere you go, and I chose this topic as is it has in the past been in the news about the amount of ‘street art’ in Leeds, and the promotion and publication of it.
Overall for the first task of Photojournalism, I actually really enjoyed it and I enjoyed taking my photos and researching more into the history of ‘street art’ in Leeds.
