I posed my subject outside with a large background. I did this because the F-stop setting simulates a changed depth of field.
On the lowest setting, it focused only on the subject and the floor surrounding them. This is because it captured a shallow depth of field.
The highest subject captured the large, interesting background as well as the subject. This is because it captured a large depth of field.
With the F-stop setting set to somewhere in the middle, I captured a good portion of both the building and the subject. This is because it captured a medium depth of field.
