The Leeds Beckett University, Sheila Silver Library hosts hundreds of students daily who are hoping to achieve the best grades possible for their degree.

One student who has benefited from the facilities available on Woodhouse Lane is Ayden Cutler, third year student studying BA (Hons) Human Geography and Planning.
Before Ayden started studying in the library, he was ‘struggling’ to keep up with the coursework set for him, meaning that when receiving feedback and having grades given to him it was clear that time and effort were required to see serious improvements.
Since he moved his study space to the Sheila Silver Library, the feedback from his lecturers has shown that his hard work has started to pay off.
“With all these resources available and alongside my hard work my grades have gone from 45-55 now to 65-75, hopefully it continues to pay off and I stay on track to graduate with a first.”
From media equipment loans to student meeting rooms, silent study rooms and more. Sheila Silver Library is the place for all students to study.
Get yourself down and make the most of the facilities available, and like Ayden you will see a difference in your grades by the end of your course!
